The extension of contracts by the HWG member Cuxport with a premium automobile manufacturer to cover warehousing and handling services for new vehicles in Cuxhaven is clear confirmation of this.
Five Million Tons of Freight Transported from Cuxhaven to Immingham

In September 2017, the five millionth ton of cargo was transported to the Cuxport terminal in Cuxhaven for onward shipping to the UK.
Cuxport handles crane parts weighing several tonnes for the NYK Bulk & Projects shipping company
The port services company Cuxport handled a project consignment for the German agent of the Japanese shipper NYK Bulk & Projects through berth 3 at the Europa quay for the first time at the end of July
The crane parts weighing several tonnes were loaded on board the 175-metre long freighter MS Imari for shipment from Cuxhaven to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Keel laying ceremony: World Dream
Papenburg, 11 January 2017 – MEYER WERFT held the keel laying ceremony for the new cruise ship World Dream with yard number S.712 in the covered building dock II. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman and CEO of Genting HongKong, joined Bernard and Tim Meyer (CEO Meyer Werft) and Thatcher Brown, President Dream Cruises in plac-ing the lucky cent on the bracings, before the 800 ton crane lowered the first block of the second building phase for the new ship.
