Cuxhaven, 25.9.2024 – Die Reederei BREB GmbH & Co. KG,1951 gegründet und bereits jetzt stark diversifiziert, Deutschlands, erweitert ihr Dienstleistungsportfolio nochmals um den neuen Geschäftsbereich Port & Offshore Services. Als größter deutscher Hafenagent für Schiffe im Bereich Windenergieanlagen (Wind Energy Converters/WECs) setzt das Unternehmen aus Cuxhaven damit einen wichtigen Schritt, um den wachsenden Anforderungen der maritimen Wirtschaft gerecht zu werden.

The new division offers customized solutions for the offshore industry with a clear focus on wind energy. The offering includes a wide range of services that extend along the entire logistics chain. The services include, among others:

  • Complete logistics chain for port and offshore logistics as well as wind farm services in the planning, construction and operation phases of offshore projects
  • Procurement and logistics
  • Offshore equipment and container rental
  • Offshore marine agency and logistics services, mobilization and demobilization services
  • Spot chartering of offshore support vessels (OSVs) and crew boats/crew transfer vessels (CTVs)
  • Supply base/base port management
  • Oil & gas/offshore logistics and shipyard services

The terminal in Cuxhaven has developed into a central hub for offshore wind energy. Blue Water BREB, a joint venture founded in 2016 between the German BREB GmbH & Co. KG and the Danish Blue Water Shipping A/S, has established itself as the leading German wind energy terminal and serves well-known customers such as Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Enercon and Nordex.
